Smiths Outraged by Supply Line Shortages
By Granku Heavyhammer
It is a tough time for smiths and other craftsmen across the land of Harrows influence. Supplies of raw materials have been shrinking in number and there is little explanation as to why. A council of smiths have been said to have been called to address the issues and find the cause.
It is rumored that most of the most well used mines, counting Iron, copper, and silver among them, have been beset by an unknown force. Miners have reported that strange creatures most foul have been reported coming up from lower depths. However there has been no common description that can identify what they may be.
Some mines can not even be re-entered due to a foul miasma that permeates the mine shafts. This Council shall meet in the after noon of the thirteenth day of the eleventh month. It is asked that any Smiths in the area that are concerned with the make haste to attend.

Airships Ahoy!
By Thuston Bilgecrank
A vast number of people took to the skys in search of information and treasure. In impossibly fast manner they traveled across the seas at great peril in a possibly one of a kind ship or strange Ritual to aid in its journey.
Among those that were reported to have members of the Mossport Provisioners, the newly self proclaimed Marquise Donald McMurphy and his retinue, and a group of newcomers known as Mock and Barrel. Along with a few independent adventurers.
This was in response to the Marquis Belgair of Loughglenn. Coming in and demanding vengeance for the slaying of the Duke of Loughglenn’s daughter. He claimed it was an assassin from Ipswtch. After investigation and interrogations it was proven that it had all been a set up by the Marquis. It turns out his framing of a Death Cult was all a cover up of his own involvement in a insidious cult following the tenets of at least one chaos power. The culmination happened as the former Marquis was transformed in to a hideous and warped beast that a number of the people involved put down. More information is still out there on this matter. This reporter is still seeking more.

Harrows Sword Stolen!
By Sir Aubry
Foul thieves have struck and stolen any number of arms from the city of Harrows store houses. Weapons Shields and the very distinct two handed sword that has been seen in the constant possession of Harrow, Leader of our fair city.
It is said that the thieves belong to a local bandit group that has been operating in the area for some time. They have with in the last half a year been driven out of such places as the abandoned guild hall near the outskirts of Harrow proper.
These bandits may be going to ground over the winter and hard to root out. Any investigations yielding information should be turned over to the Order of the Alaunt, specifically myself if I am available.

When Plants Attack!
By Harold Haroldson

Friday night of the last gathering of towns folk people were beset by strange animated plant like creatures. Vaguely humanoid in form the masses of shambling vegetation seemed to attack randomly.
The most insidious effect that these things had were not the physical wounds that they laid on the unsuspecting or unskilled but the infections that soon ran wild in those that were exposed to them.
Soon individuals were turning a sickening pale green and even sprouting vines them selves! It seemed no physical detriment but may have addled the minds of some of those effected as they did not seem to care to be rid of the obtrusive spores.
Some were rumored to have even sought out to become more infected by taking on the spores of others already affected. Unfathomable!
Seduced by the apparent power that the spores growing inside them have granted surely will only come to a bad end if they or their fellows can not seek out and answer.
The only sure way to cure the infection at this point is death. Perhaps the Apothecaries and Alchemist of Harrow can find a cure before it is to late.

Blackburn- Order of The Bearraidh
Founded at the Council of Coventry by Dame Bathilda “Man-Hearted” Drogheda. Dame Bathilda fought at the Bloody Narrows and survived, returning to Blackburn she died in 1302. Her body was interred in the ancestral barrow of the Drogheda Clan. Several of her children later became leaders of the Order.
Since those days the Order has become less the typical ideal of Southern Knighthood and is marked by the distinctive cultural devices of the Bruin. These Knights are typically Foot-Knights supported by some medium Cavalry, retaining their cultural preferences for certain weapons, armor and tactics. They are often seen by their Peer Orders as having a liberal interpretation of the Codes of Chivalry keeping a flexible set of options when fighting against enemies.
